Lacena "Candy" Carson, (''neé'' Rustin) usually known as Candy Carson, is the wife of Ben Carson, a noted neurosurgeon and candidate for President of the United States in 2016. Candy has become known for her co-founding and promotion of the Carson Scholars Fund and for co-authoring four books with her husband, including one that was on the ''New York Times'' bestsellers list for 20 straight weeks, with five weeks as #1.
